4 pin speed sensors on a GS...is that weird?

Postby adrian » Fri May 30, 2003 4:02 pm

Hi all,

Before Jiles posts me over my new speed sensors he asked me to check were they 3 pin or 4 pin. I did, and they are 4...if i am looking at the right things. He seemed to think this was weird on a GS...that they should be 3 pin. Is it possible I'm looking at the wrong things or has anyone else experieced 4 pin sensors on a 4sp TIP GS box.

Thanks as always,

Adran

Hey Adrian,
I replied on smartgroups - in case you don't see it - if you tell me what I'm looking for then I can check out the sensors on my GS.

Thanks Shane,

The 2 speed sensors on top of the gearbox and there is a pin adapter going onto each. I took digi pics of them to mail to Jiles so I'll have to mail you them too but forgot to take the camera home at the weekend.

Cheers,

A
