Thanks, I'm a legend, although I did have a slight advantage

Big thanks to Bernard and Missus.
I had the best seat in the house for the rally. Kudos to the Mark II Escort who managed to side swipe the FTO Ireland sign twice.

Today - I'll be mostly suffering from a perforated eardrum (from the WRC antilag) and sunburn.

Why didn't anyone tell me there'd be karting?

Sorry lads.
It wasn't preplanned, just an idea over lots of drink last night.

...and seeing as doing it was dependent on none of us having a hangover, it could easily not have happened!

You spelled 'round' wrong.

Thanks to Bernard, Grace, and Bridget for the hospitality, food, and putting up with a lot of drunken talk last night! Great day. Shame the weather didnt hold out for the sunday evening but I guess there'll be plenty more days!

Have some photos here; http://www.bebo.com/PhotoAlbum.jsp?Memb ... 7920172015

Uploading a couple of vids onto youtube at the moment too, nothing spectacular but they'll do.

Oh dear, did you stand on top of the garage to take that 5th last one in your hungover state??

Or maybe Buddy just gave you a piggyback!

Firstly, huge thanks to Bernard and Grace for looking after us on Sunday, great spread guys!

All in, I had a great day, it was nice to chill out and take it easy between rally stages. We were blessed with the weather (some more than others!) apart from the torrential rain later on in the evening - I haven't see rain like that in some time. It was good to meet everyone on the day, old and new faces alike. Pity the karting wasn't preplanned, I'm sure we could have got more bodies in karts.

Bring on September @ Limerick Racecourse!

CJ
