NCT Fail

Postby Dean » Mon Nov 24, 2003 4:00 pm

Gaaaah!

What are the chances of a fecking headlight bulb blowing the night before the NCT.
Not to mention that the only mitsi dealer here is known to be a bunch of rip offs, and that I have to buy through them cause my next nct appointment is too soon to order through powerbulbs.

Doh!

Dean, you should be able to get the headlight bulbs (HB3) from any motor factors, it might cost you 15 quid for a bulb though.

HB4 (aka 9006 - 55W) are the dipped bulbs and HB3 (aka 9005 - 60W) are for the full beams AFAIK....

I've a set of HID style dipped bulbs that give just a hint of blue off the beams, much nicer than the blue style bulbs IMO. I'm using white LEDs in the parking lights to match. www.powerbulbs.com are your man.

Sigh.....

After all that, I pulled out the bulb and put it back in again.
Now it works.
