difference between 8mm and 8.5mm

difference between 8mm and 8.5mm

in the process of purchasing a set of magnacore leads
i see there is set types, 8mm and 8.5mm
whats the diffenence between them, other than the .5mm :lol:
...Me fail english?..Thats unpossible.....

the colour.

theory is that there is less resistance in the 8.5mm - hence a "better" spark and longer lasting cables w. less heat development..

that's the theory afaik.

There's no NEED for the 8.5mm

..yet.. they were the ones I bought ;-)

I have 8.5 mm Red ones on my car .
Very happy with them
no1. manual GR 96 l no2. tip GR 95 l no3. manual Gpx 95 l no.4 manual Gpx 95 l no.5 manual Gpx 96 l no.6 tip GR 95 - in 2011 took a break from the FTO scene

Nope..Only just had them installed.

Do you notice any difference with them seb?

I know you'd notice if they were faulty but would you really see any benefit from them?

For the sake of having performance parts on your car for a little extra in price .......I could see a difference in Before/After :mrgreen:

I immediately noticed a difference with new magnecors and plugs. Car sounded better and was more responsive,

I think you'll feel a difference if your plugs need a refresh aways...

..if you were to replace a fresh set of 8mm leads and a set of say..bosch ultra mega titanium plugs..with densos you probably wouldnt see much, if anything, in the way of improvement - however..

if you are replacing - replace with the best you can..
