Just incase anyone missed it.

Quinn were the only ones that would insure me origianlly and by far the cheapest (to the the tune of about €600) on renewal this year.
Think Britton were the only others that would quote me.

It's due again in June and I'm a bit worried as to how it'll work out, I know theres a few people with Quinn here so if your renewing anytime soon I'd love to hear how it goes under the new ownership.
"It is very much business as usual for our customers" - Hopefully not expensive business...

I re-insured with them a few weeks ago and had no bother. €600 exactly... I'm not complaining. :P

If you want a few euro off, you could do what I did. Ring up to pay when the quote ya the price say no it wasn't that price pretend to find your quotation slip they sent you in the post "which you can't find" but then say maybe it was with a different insurer that quoted you.

I was put straight through to sales and they dropped it to 600 even. It was supposed to be 624.86.
It always mind boggles me how it's 86 cents, why can't they just round them up or down
