350Z for sale

Postby Myfeckin FTO » Tue Aug 30, 2011 10:41 pm

Selling a 350Z I recently took as a trade.
Nice lowish mileage JDM model - top ST spec - hard to believe the value in the current climate - absolutely fantastic performance coupe for the money - can't see it depreciating any further.

I'm also beginning to think you have a garage where you make these yourself. Like a Nissan elf or something.

I paid more for my FTO when I bought it, and it was newer at the time.
That's a savage amount of car for the money.

That is massive value!

I just sold the S2000 for similar money. It was 2 years older, higher milage, and a lot less extras! This is an absolute bargain by comparison, just shows the bias away from larger engines.

Best of luck with the sale.

I sold my last FTO for 8.5K Euros and it was several years older than this Zed at the time.

Genuine 60K miles - it was imported three years ago with less than 20K miles at a grade 4.5
It really is a bargain - and should be depreciation proof if you hold onto it for a couple of years.
I would drive this myself but baby number three is on the way and I'm shopping for a second car that can take three baby chairs - J*sus wept!

No. 1 (ST spec JDM with a few mods added)
Image

No. 2 (the supercharged 420bhp beast - OI in the pax seat)

Image

No. 3 (which I hardly owned but is a nice clean example of an ST JDM):

Image

Fantastic bulletproof cars - very entertaining to drive - parts, performance and cosmetic mods easily available and are cheap to maintain (if you leave them as is and don't mod like I have a tendency to do).

Anyhoo it looks like No. 3 is very nearly sold. Buyer got a LOT of Zed for the money.

That was a quick sale,if it'd stayed any longer I probably would have talked myself into buying it at that price :)

Yep - you don't get away with much on here.

I'm still in need of a larger car for the missus and kids so the FTO looks like it has to go. As winter is approaching its probably best I hang onto the Pajero Evo over the FTO for my own DD.
Haven't put it up for sale here yet as I'm putting it through the bodyshop shortly and sorting out a few other (minor) bits.
Really putting it on done deal to see what interest it generates.

Drove this FTO over the past few days and what immediately struck me was how light the car is - recent years driving more modern performance machinery with all the bells & whistles (& assoc. weight) had numbed the senses you get when driving a light weight, high revving coupe. This FTO is still remarkably tight and very enjoyable to drive. Sounds lovely too with the SS exhaust and ITG induction - not loud - just cultured.

Mustang - how you getting on with that Zed?

As I was explaining to MyfeckinFTO, I was not in the market for a car, and I thought that the FTO and I would grow old together as I had no intention of selling. :smt057 So this was very much an impulse purchase. Exactly the same as the purchase of the FTO some 5 years ago-the car came to me rather than the other way around -and that worked out well. Virtual window shopping (on FTO-Ireland) can end up being an expensive pursuit. :smt001
After 6 full years of FTO ownership over a 7 year period and three FTO's a change of scenery was welcome though. I did want to try a different engine/ driven wheel combo, and had been flirting with the idea of a 'large capacity' engine.
This tranaction appeared to make sence -in as much as buying a 2 seat, 3.5l car with a small boot can :smt003
Have not ended up sideways in a ditch -yet -so, so far so good!
