Does anyone happen to know the differences between the Colt GL and GLX (c. 1998)? I'm talking about the 1.3 model. Doesn't seem to much info on the web in this regard.

the interior in the GLX is better. Have you noticed the chrone handles on some. engines are the excact same. The X stands for Extra.
if you still had control, you haven't been fast enough
