possibly the lowest quote

Postby kona » Mon Jan 12, 2009 10:36 pm

my brother got a qoute for a GR from the insurance company he works for and it was €5700.
as he is now there over 6 months he can qualify for a staff discount and the new quote is €750.
He reckons that some of the drop was because he had turned 24 in the meantime.he has 2 years as a named driver.
this is all on a provisional licence.
the strangest thing is that they wont even quote me for that car.

there is no understanding how insurance companies come to their premium prices

So it's simple - you just have to get a job there, insure your car, then leave*

Think spouses can also get a discount if the partner works in the company......hmmm maybe worth a look on the classifieds section for a quick date (look under occupation:D)

could be the only way some people will get a quote,
