Upgraded fuel injector info

Hey guys if anyone is looking at upgrading their injectors iv found out what fits and dosnt fit from my turbo kit as it has 2 sets of injectors.

There are 2 sets i have here so thats how i found out.

VR4 injectors 390cc support up to 350BHP
Suberau sti "pink" injectors 510cc support up to 500bhp

also
RX7 1989-91 RX-7 injectors 460cc support up to 450bhp

nope but i know the ones from the sti are from the 7

and the rx7's part number are 195500-2010 as far as i know (please dont let it pull up a glove box or something)

but ya do know RPW sell 275cc's

ps you do know youll need an injector controller or a propper piggyback/ stand alone ecu to controle the injectors or youll just pump extra fuel out the exhaust

Ah yes - no point in just throwing more petrol in to the cylinders - the rest of the setup has to follow suit.

would you gain many bhp with upgraded injectors and a mapped ecu? Or is it only with a turbo?

I think in order to gain anything proper you'd need to do other mods as well

Exhaust, Air intake, Cylinder volume... but if one was willing to throw the money & time at it I'm sure bhp/torque gains are there to be made..

However - you have to ask yourself - at what stage does a transplant start making more sense.

This is the world of NA tuning were on about.

Look at my results from when i got the neo fitted,
there is power to be made from messing with the a/f ratio.
and thats working with the standard map.

theres adjusting with the timing. that can free up to 15bhp on a na car

Had been thinking of sticking in an ecu and getting it mapped, but decision making is a long, slow labourious process for me :)

ill have a greddy emanage blue for sale ill be setting up the fto on the e-manage before i move up and hunt power with a motec or invec
