Re: 1997 Mitsi Legnum €1300 €1300 €1300

It is on english plates, so no NCT (VRT 700). It was tested just before I brought it in from UK. At this price I aint spending any more money on it to be honest.
I can prob get my hands on a manual box, or at least I know where there was one, just need to check it is still there.

If I were to buy this Legnum, I'd be ripping out the rear seats and registering it as a commercial, the money saved on tax alone would be significant.

1000 euro and you can have the entire car. Running a dream and you could remove whatever you need and sell the rest.

Yes you can convert to commercial and pay lower VRT. A friend converted this GTO a couple of weeks ago http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/cars/1809731, cannot understand how a coupe can be commercial.

Give me a call and I will fill you in on it.

Will take pic of interior tomorrow.
I bought it to use engine for FTO conversion but could not justify breaking such a good clean (powerful car).

Anly real bad point is hole in exhaust at rear.

If I could afford it I would have it on the road. Just dont make sense with 3 vehicles already insured, also sick of wife giving out about how she told me not to buy it in the first place.
I really dont want to break it, would much prefer to see someone use it for a conversion and sell on the other bits, easily make their money back. Truth being told I should have scrapped it long ago and advertised the parts, besides staring out the kitchen window every evening.

Also forgot to say it needs 2 ties rods fitted, which I have, but no time to fit. Mentioned this in previous post but just remembered it now

Well here are some pics of it as it stands now. Please bear in mind this car has not even been cleaned out since I brought it from the UK.
Has a personalised UK plate, not sure how many people would want it though.
Work done on it includes

Timing belt and Pump
Fitted with FTO 16" wheels with new tyres (Set of 17" in the boot)
New Spark plugs. 0km on them
New rockers gaskets and plug seals
Oil and filter change
ATF fluid and filter change
Undersealed
Air Filter

What it needs
A good cleaning
Repair to exhaust
New tie rods fitted (included in sale are 2 tie rods and 2 TRE)
MIssing small piece of plastic from bumper under front number plate. Not sure of the purpose of it, maybe for jacking point.

Only bit of rust on this car is on the bonnet where paint was chipped off. see pics.
Even has the origonal tie down net still in the boot. Wired for a hitch, hitcjh is removed and in the boot.
