Reliability of Jeep Grand Cherokee 2.7TD

Postby adrian » Tue Aug 28, 2007 8:50 am

Hey there. The 2004 and 2005 models seem good value out of the UK. I have it in my head that these are not very reliable.... but do not know where I got this opinion?!

Anyone care to enlighten me?

But I am hearing that they have a mercedes engine since 2003 or something and meant to be reliable. They are actually built in Germany would you believe...

I can see where you are coming from alright - thats a lot of jeep for the money and if you wanted a comfortable road cruiser rather than an offroad workhorse this would be more in the direction I would head.

Then again if I wanted something in the comfortable road cruiser with 4wd bracket I'd personnally be more inclined towards the Audi Allroad/Volvo XC90
