I was thinking that myself; if myself, Tom, Laura and maybe Brednan (GT94) were to go in convoy we could meet you somewhere en route?

When we get a time from Colm (no pressure  ) we can work backwards from there.

Thoughts lads?
Cool, that sounds good to me, should have a decent convoy from here. Any time suits me. Really lookin forward to this now.

Ok guys, here's the plan, click on the blue links for more information. Sorry about the delay

Meet at 9.15 and LEAVING at 9.30 at the Spawell in Templeogue ok for the Dublin crew?

We should aim to be in the Tesco in Milands for 10.30 on Saturday morning.

Meet up in Gorey, we take R571 towards Wexford, next stop is Ballycanew
Picture of Ballycanew here

Then we go on to Ballygarret, Kilmuckridge, Killincody, Blackwater, and then Curracloe beach.

Get some pics of the FTOs at the beach in Curracloe
, (total so far 40km). Drive on to Castlebridge and on to N11. (total so far 40km)

Drive to Johnstown Castle and get some snaps there, then on to Wexford Town, (total so far 55km) south to Rosslare,

we then drive to Ladys Island (75km) , Carnsore Point, and Kilmore Quay, (94km).

Drive to Wellington Bridge, Fethard on Sea, (130km) Hook Head, Duncannon, Campile, New Ross,

Should be finished up by 5pm or so. We'll get lunch in the afternoon, and there'll be plenty of photo ops along the way.

Please read the notes on driving in convoy posted HERE! <<<

Also beware of speeding in an attempt to catch up with those ahead.
I used to travel all over the country in a past job and the N11 always has guarda speed checks on it. So for those of you with a tendancy to put the foot down just be careful. They usually sit on the slip roads onto the dual carraige way where they cant be seen.

Gfalls ,What do you think is the best way to go to Gorey to meet the lads. I was thinking, Bunclody Ferns Gorey---- It would more than likely take around 40 mins to get from Bunclody to Gorey .So if this way is ok with you could meet up in Bunclody around 9:40. I know we could go across country but this road would be better I think

I agree. I'll meet you in Bunclody at 9:40. At the garage on the bend (Esso I think..?!?). You know where I mean?

For the limerick (/Cork) crew, any suggestions on a route? GM gives the following route to Gorey, 194km with an estimated travel time of 3hrs 16mins.

Only if we dont have to babysit. Only messing. Might bring the nephew if kids are welcome. He likes his cars. And wants me to give him the FTO when he's old enough to drive. I have a few years left before I've to hand it over, he's only 7. :P
