handbrake cables

Failed MOT AGAIN ON THE HANDBRAKE..........12% BRAKE PROFORMANCE EFFICIENCY...................any one a link new brake cables i can buy? i will need both cables won't i?

have you heard of Camskill ?
no1. manual GR 96 l no2. tip GR 95 l no3. manual Gpx 95 l no.4 manual Gpx 95 l no.5 manual Gpx 96 l no.6 tip GR 95 - in 2011 took a break from the FTO scene

Yes, they are not expensive and easy to change mate

under 50 quid .

Make sure they are to blaim and not a stuck caliper or bad brake pads.
Actually it will be a super opportunity to clean the calipers and put new pads on(they are only a tenner - same source )

seb. i had to change rear caliper for refurb one and i put in new pads.The only other thing that might be wrong if it is not the brake cables could be the discs. I will try the cables first,hopefully that my baby will pass MOT.........wHEN THE INSPECTOR CHECKED MY HANDBRAKE,it was pointed to the ceiling instead of the 4 clicks allowed for pass......

Surely rear brake performance would be bad if there was a problem with the pads or discs?

Have you tried tightening the cable? Nut is underneath the cup holder.
