A problem in that its been proven on the track that the factory rpm for mivec kicking in is exactly the optimum for performance and if the mivec is changing over at a different rpm without a mivec controller being fitted then theres something wrong.

I got a GPX Tip plenty fast enough for me (would prefer later model gearbox 5 speed auto instead of 4 speed)
I wouldnt have bothered with a lesser model as the prices are so cheap now even for a reasonable Mivec.

Mine was £800, tatty but basically sound apart from a few service items.
Mine has mivec controller to have the movec cut in earlier if you want it to which is cool if you've been tailgated by some saxo driving idiot :)

Once I've had a couple of years to save up I'll be looking for a GPvR with 5 speed Tip though. :D
