Mary, Michael & Jeebus

Postby Baldrick » Fri Jul 10, 2009 12:30 pm

I've been waiting and waiting for someone to mention this, and I'm a bit bored, so I've taken the initiative. This is a real sign of recession (remember the moving statues?).

NEARLY 2,000 people have signed a petition seeking to prevent the removal of a tree stump on the grounds of a Co Limerick church, which they believe depicts an image of the Blessed Virgin.

It's being discussed on all the radio shows here. There's hundreds of them saying the rosary and holding all night vigils

It's the 80's again, recession brings out the religious nuts.

Give it a couple of years and Christy Moore will be singing about the airport* in Rathkeale

*Outgoing flights only I hope
