Electric Mirror Control Panel removal

Postby Kace » Thu Jun 21, 2012 9:32 am

Guys - anyone know whether it's possible to remove this panel and get at the wires behind it easily ?

My immobiliser (left side) is acting up so I need to get in there and diagnose and/or disconnect.

Anyone know how to go about doing this ?

Thanks

Kace, I know that the mirror control unit can be prised you with a flathead screwdriver, just go easy to avoid damage. I can't recollect if the same approach will work for the panel, it may be screwed into place from behind. Removing the mirror control will reveal all...

Easy job, but go easy so you don't snap the clips holding the blanks in place.
