IMMOBLISER

Having problems with immobliser,changed battery in key fob but its not openning doors straight away, after several attempts it works.........ITS the same tying to start engine,ignition lights will not come on untill several attempts also..................any ideas..............toad alarm/immobliser :roll:

Sounds to me like a replacement alarm could be on the cards....

CJ. would that be just the box or an all new alarm system ? I take it it will have to be rewired?

Why don't you just phone up Toad Customer Care and ask them for a recommendation, i.e. repair or replace.

Think i have sussed my problem out,loose battery connection in my key fob....................sorted now...

Well did'nt work so bought new key fob,but it looks to hard to reset fob....... afraid to fook it up lol

I had the same problem when I bought my car, alarm would not turn off when I pressed the fob, sometimes would sometimes wouldnt. Opened fob and saw that the metal that holds the battery was broken, quick solder and problem solved.
