Luckier than i thought

Postby Syst3m » Wed Jan 03, 2007 10:28 pm

Well looks like we Kiwis are better off on the insurance front than you guys. After reading this section I am becoming much happier about my NZ$1500 full comp on my GR. Especially with me being male, 19, no NCB and 1 yrs full licence.

We have the same problem with insurance companies pulling numbers out of thin air too though, most frustrating

I tell a lie, got my papers today and it turns out they've given me a 1yrs NCB for my 5months which equates to 40%

Frustrating, eh? NZ$1500 is about 800 euro, most Irish 19 year olds wouldn't get a quote on an FTO, those that do end up with quotes in excess of 4000 euro or if you prefer, NZ$7500. Count yourself lucky!

Jesus - that's an awesome quote..

a 19year old would have to pay with arms and legs to insure any type of fto in this country..

I would have given my arms & legs to have an FTO when I was 19.........8 years before they were on the market

You're showing your age a bit there BTs!

In the 80's, few could afford a decent car, let alone a precursor to the FTO :|
