strange button

Does anyone know what this button(beside traction control) is for? If cycled on-off while all lights are off, I can hear the click of a relay.



Can't find any mention of it in the handbook.

No, no external aerial. Isn't the switch for the motorized aerial (mine is blank), opposite to the front fogs switch.

Speaking of the aerial, can a motorized one be retrofitted? I quite dislike blank buttons; maybe I'll just make an alarm led out of it...

I think the car did have that option, but it was removed at some point. The control circuit for it is still in there tho.

Guess ultrasonic sensors weren't really a thing when the FTO was designed .

Sensors were a separate option, you can see them in the picture above with the control button by the gear stick.
The telescopic pole was just a visual aid, a typically Japanese oddity.
