Is the 26th of Feb still a runner for the rolling road then?
Has it been booked?

Any update/confirmation on this?

As regards pricing.....taken from the Irishmoc site
Prices are; ECU Diagnostics €60 and DYNO €150 but i'm sure I could organise some sorta discount if we get enough of people to go.

It should be about 60 quid a car.

Do we have a definite price per vehicle? Does it depend on the size of the group? There seems to be a big difference between the above quoted prices :?

How many on the MOC are supposed to be going? If this thing gets too big I might give it a miss, don't want to spend all day hanging around there!

Kev, if you're on a schedule time-wise then we can organise for you to go up front.

Dave, at this stage, its a bit tight for the 26th, we really need to be booking a month in advance. You'd be as well to get your sorted and then look at booking.

Thats true, but its not going to be much fun waiting for hours to get onto the rolling road if there's lots of people there.

no max people i'd say will be ten to twelve and that's at a push. and as CJ said if you're in a rush there's no problem throwing yours up there first.

Fair point, but i think Shane did have it provisionally booked anyways, so a couple more days shouldn't be a problem. I'll know first thing monday and i'll give them a call then.

I'm still on for this - I'd say 10-12 people would be a realistic number.

ok folks, i'm afraid i will not be able to make this meet. as you can guess we've run into a couple of problems when fitting the kit, so she's back to normal for the time being.

I'm gonna go regardless and I'll have a couple of other cars in tow.
Dave - you should go anyway if just to get a "before" on the power figures to guage the difference the turbo makes.

i already have a dyno report from last year, plus we've already done some stuff to her, changed the spark plugs (Denso's), leads (Magnecor), induction kit (K&N), de-cat, fuel pressure regualtor, head gasket...... and one or two other things so we're going to hang on, I'm majorly pissed that i can't make this cos we were looking forward to seeing what she would do! I may pop down and just put a few faces to some of the names.

Needless to say - you don't have to go on the dyno to go to the meet - first and foremost its about getting to see other FTO's and their owners.
The dyno is an excuse to try and get this meet off the ground.
This should be a very handy trip for anyone from the Dublin area so there should be better numbers for this meet than what we have so far.

CJ - you still on for this?

Has somebody booked this session with the RR people?

I'm still interested in going.

I've already called Martin - We are booked in for 26th from 0930 - tea/coffee on arrival - he is not concerned re numbers - anything from 3-12 will be fine. It costs €50 per run if we have 10cars - €60 otherwise.
Martin will be able to give an accurate at the wheels figure and a good estimate of flywheel figures.

CJ - You can add one other to this list - a mate (lady) with a Mivec RS Asti.

Couldn't agree more, everybody is welcome, no need and no pressure to put your car on the dyno. Come along and put some faces to the names.
For the few people who are considering buying FTO's this would be a good opportunity to meet fellow forum members as well as see a good few FTO's in the one location. Also a good chance to kick MyfeckinFTO's tyres and take his car for a bit of test piloting after you've convinced him your genuinely interested in purchasing

(If this thread keeps up it looks like it's on course to become the longest one yet!)
