Postby zsnemeth » Sun Feb 26, 2012 11:05 pm

So, we got a '95 GPX for my girlfriend, she wanted one more than 2 years ago.
The car is in very good shape, it's only need a few thing done.
So, I'm going to the For Sale section now. ;)

Kind regards,
Zsolt

Ehemm... not really. :smt003

I'll take few pics, i promise! I need a set of original coil springs, urgently.
We bought the car with broken front Y exhaust pipe, i put on a brand new and heat wrapped it.
I just waxoyled the underside and saw the heat wrap already missing from the bottom of the exhaust after 2 weeks.
The car is lowered, it's just too low, need the original height.

Hi Zsolt,

Nice to see another member from Galway. Where abouts are you based?
I've a spares car that I'm hoping to break eventually but college work has gotten in the way.
If there's anything you need give me a shout or you can have a look and see if there's anything you like.

What colour is it? Manual or Tiptronic?

I think most people think FTO's look like they're on stilts when they're not lowered!

The fto looks far better when lowered. I didn't particularly care until I lowered mine, not two weeks ago, when I would have been willing to give you the original springs for free. Only I had them thrown out.

Thanks Goz, if they're gone, they're gone, what can we do?!
I agree it looks better, but don't want to get new exhaust every month... and here is the reason of the delowering :smt003

I've wrapped the FMIC, up and down pipes on my own car more than a year ago, and don't have any problem with it. I wouldn't care the wrap, but the Y pipe was broken at the very same point. :?

I'm from Oranmore.
Car looks good, where did you get it if you don't mind me asking?
The decals on it look familiar I think.

What car do you drive yourself?

Only problem I have with my exhaust is when it slips out of the rubber supports. Need to stop that from happening :x

No. But if the tin of jubilees is in the tin of procrastination....we're all in big trouble. It's a very big tin.

I've had a look, this is the most sorry looking car I've see long time ago. :( Here she is.
I was hoping, i can use the wheels/tires and the shocks/coils.
It's FUBAR, shocks are shot, bouncing on the road badly, has noisy tappets and feels under powered.
Has a few dents, paint is bubbling and has rusty and rotten spots, interior is badly worn.
On the plus side the gearbox feels ok.

Sounds like you should set it on fire, but it might spontaneously combust by the sounds of it.
