I too am with direct line how much is your policy overall? I'm payin £440 that includes protected no claims, fully comp. but there's a sting in the tail my excess is £500

letter to ombudsman, letter to IIF. IIF guy rang me to inform me quinn would remove the loading for my claim 2 years ago. Renewal didn't go up last year, and I think its unfair adding on 20% to my renewal this year for the claim in 2007 even though my full no claims was protected. anyway, long story short, changed address, added on partner, and letters to IIF and ombudsman eventually got it down to 830. cheaper than last year. writing letters works.

im telling ya the IIF is the way to go! if i have to write to them this year ill make sure to mention that i have had problems with the last year too and threatened them with the IIF again before i got the cheaper quote!

My argument this year is ive reached to landmarks in insurance 5yrs ncb and 25yrs of age!!!

Cheaper as in it went down a significant % from last year, or is it more expensive, but not by as much as you thought it was going to be ?
