Undersealing in Dublin

Postby optical illusion » Wed May 11, 2011 8:18 pm

Hey all, had my car up with Shane from Retrocars, Baldonnell recently, couldn't recommend him highly enough, did a fantastic job with great attention to detail, no stray splashes anywhere! 5 year guarantee and I would also advise that you get it waxoiled from the inside out with him before if you can afford it. Nice big hole in the rear arch (a common problem in FTOs) which was fixed up nicely before continuing. Kept updated throughout the day and nothing extra was done without my permission. A nice selection of cars out the back, from classics to jap scrap :) Here are some pics of before and after:

Very nice, and some good peace of mind. Was it a one day job?

The price on his website says €180 so I presume you got it done cheaper than this ?

Its nearly a must have on an FTO now considering the age of the car. Would really add to the FTO come resale time.
Nice job Laura.

Price is €275 standard. FTO is considered small sized, not medium.

Read above Jay. Put aside a bit more for problems like holes.

If there's enough interest it might be worth contacting him to see if he'd do a group deal.

You should tie in with Seb.
If he's open to the idea of a group buy then he might also be inclined to offer a club discount.
