Insurance on the FTO is up on Friday. Me named driver on wifes policy. Currently with Allianz through broker. Quote for the year was €850. So I decided to get a quote from one direct as I have my own car insurance with them and also Home insurance.

Firstly they would not quote due to vehicle (FTO- FERRARI) but I then told them that if they did not quote I would cancel the other 2 policies and go elsewhere no matter what thecost. They came back this evening with a quote of €600 fuuly Comp for both of us. Guess who will be the insurer this year.
Dont suppose th broker could match that????

Read the small print to make sure you are getting the level of cover you want. Sometimes the cheaper policies don't offer a very good level of cover or have high excesses applying.

A word of caution from someone who got caught out once before! :D
