allianz insurance

Collected my GPX manual yesterday. It cost an extra 499Euro to cover me from now till Dec 15th. That's on top of my current policy premium of 576Euro (Skoda Octavia). Overall that works out at what would be 1146Euro for 12 months. Not to bad I reckon. The next best quote I got (bar the Excess direct crowd) was with AXA 1570Euro. That's for fully comp, 27 years old, 7 years NCB & full licence.

Hey Gings!

Welcome to the forum! :-)

I'm with Eagle star...

I think we're all pretty much with different companies...
your best bet is to keep calling all the companies out there... eventually they will quote you...

Hi Gings,

welcome... I'm with Royal & Sun Alliance via the AA. I think the AA will quote from 27 onwards unless they pushed that up again, have you tried them?

Oh ya, remember if you're already insured with someone then legally they have to quote you, get back onto them if they've refused to quote you already. Amazing what they'll try on some times! having said that if they tell you 10 thousand for the year then they've quoted you but you'd never know, they might help you out.

Kev.

Colin is that Allianz cover based on a normal policy or are you covered under a group scheme?

That's a normal private vehicle policy.
