That was the first FTO I looked at, it was for sale in Maddens cars in Kilkenny around five yars ago... 10K at the time and I think the stepper was gone.

That guy Madden is some cowboy - I drove an FTO there before that also had a stepper motor gone - he didn't let on though - he had the car good and warm and insisted that he start it again before I test drove. didn't want to give ANY type of guarantee.

When I drove it he said he was selling it for someone and wouldn't stand over it at all.
I had to take a battery starter on the test drive.

I too went to look at that car, about 3 years ago (I'm almost certain it's the same car, think I still have details and photo's somewhere). I believe the vendor was the second Irish owner at that stage, he was based in Waterford/Wexford. It had a massive stereo system fitted, and subsequently removed..
What a small circle we operate in........
