Toner cartridges

Postby Bernard » Fri Sep 16, 2011 8:38 pm

The light came on the printer today so I thought I'd price a new toner online.
Now I've found one for a decent price already but I thought some of you would appreciate this...

Same toner, same company.

Nuts! Absolutely ridiculous! And they wonder why all the people are leaving the country! (Though I saw a strange statistic today that said the amount of people coming into the country was also rising, wonder would that be anything to do with our extremely generous dole payments....)

Don't think toner is refilled, its just the ink ones isn't it?

It works out cheaper to but a new printer that is kinda cheap but good.
Once the ink runs out, chuck it in the bin and buy another printer.

Not environmentally friendly but friendly on your wallet.

Sometimes, but I can get a new toner for €50 that will do 1500 prints.
It's one of those printer/scanner jobbies.

I only posted to show the frankly ridiculous difference between prices here and in the UK, from the same company.

Links seem not to be working, but have you tried www.inkmaestro.ie ? I use them, usually cheapest around.
Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.
