URGENT PARTS REQUIRED

Postby steelroe » Tue Jul 01, 2003 3:49 pm

Can anyone on here help me. My beloved GPX got rear ended at high speed last Wednesday night and pushed me across the road into a pole . Front passangers side and rear drivers side panel damaged. Also bumper, head light.

Does anyone know where there might be an FTO scrapped. By the way his insurance is paying for it.
Mitsubishi parts are crazy priced (e.g. Head light €608)

any help would be appreciated.

if his insurance is paying then why not get all mitsi parts - it's not gonna affect your pocket

Problem is parts alone are going to cost over €5K. So they will say it in not economically repairable and write it off. I can buy it back but need to source second hand parts first.

It's a spotless manual GPX and I can do most of the work myself (no Chassis damage.

I may have a '96 GPX in the next month or so if anybody is interested in buying it. Black in colour. Tiptronic.

Right now I just wan't my own car back on the road.

Rory.

Need a good bit more than the bumpers.
Need the following for the passanger front
headlamp, spotlight, bumper, wing, wishbone, bonnet, plastic wheel arch, windscreen washer bottle and pumps, air intake ducts.

Need these items for the rear drivers side.
Complete suspension including arms, Rear quarter panel (I will probably get this new from Mitsi €900)

I have some pictures of the damage but I am not an really sure how to put them on here.

Any help is appreciated.
