Emmm, lovely mod

Postby adrian » Wed Jan 14, 2004 11:32 pm

Hi all,

Just had the pleasure of meeting Dave and his lovely FTO with cream leather interior. She's a beaut, and what a mod that leather is. It's a totlly different looking car, so sweet up close.

Thanks for the stereo Dave, a true gent.

Fixed. For some reason, my spam filter deleted your mail on receipt, anyway, pics have been uploaded and can be seen here. It looks the part, I'd like to see the job up close.

Looks nice, very nice :D :D ... i noticed a few thing thou your door cards look different to mine, was that a decision you made or am i looking at them wrong, and i'm suprised you didn't get the FTO logo sewn in when you were getting it done, in black on those cream would have looked the mutts nutts and really stood out, check the pics of my leather on the gallery page to see what i mean.

looks the biz thou, can't wait to see them in the flesh.

what happened with the door cards was that he didn;t do the front part because it would have shifted it out of place, so i made the decision to have it stip just about the handle thing. and i wanted the logo sewn in but he couldn't do it, he tried putting it in leather and it wouldn't worked, so i might have to get someone else to do it and get him to put them on.
but i must say i really am delighted with it, one of the best mods i've done, that and the kit completely transform the car....... all i need now is the evo engine under the bonnet and i'll be laughing!!
