Jurys car park is not secure. Its shutters remain open all night and its not in the best area for that. Kilmurry lodge is much further out than the South Court too and very close to a halting site. People need to decide- 1.staying in the hotel for dinner and drinks or 2. having dinner and drinks in town??
Cab from town to South Court would be €10-€12.

Once thats decided accommodation can be picked.

If town is what people want Chocolate on O'Connell Street is delicious and very reasonable. Would def need to be booked.

The Carlton has secure underground parking and I think they are ringing me back tomorrow about a small discount.
It going to be a busy night with the munster match

If you guys like this idea i can arrange it. The South Court has a lovely Chinese restaurant Zee-wee-Ton 5 mins walk from it. Next door is a pub called Russells ( lovely place- nice siz good atmosphere). No taxis involved all within walking distance.

That's perfect.
Are we going to book as a group or individually.?

If it's done as a group we need a last call on names on who coming

Southcourt sounds good, no need for Taxis and it means we can avoid town which would be a pig if the match is on.

Yes that sounds fine. No real benefit in going into town I suppose, it's not like we could do a pub crawl, with the size of the group.

Ill give them a buzz tomorrow and see will they do a deal for a group after that people can book their own- dont think my credit card could handle that abuse!!!

Il look for seven rooms in the South Court and see what they say, fingers crossed!

Restaurant is booked. Have a number for central reservations-the lad on reception said they will try and do a deal with us. Ringing tomorrow.

Yeah see if they got the rooms available. If we book on line it's 59 yoyos for a double room. Don't think that could be beaten

Definitely on for a bit of a drive too. Sunday is probably out though, people are tired/hungover, and the group generally gets split up early with some having a long drive home. I'd suggest the road trip early so we can get some photos, the go-karting won't be light dependent.

Grand job. Reckon everyone there will be able to make it to Limerick relatively early anyway so the road trip before the karting is probably best all right. Can always do a bit extra the next day if theres time.

So who wants to plan the karting? Have we decided if its indoor or outdoor? Any news on the indoor track Shane?

Ah but then the trouble starts, cause one car will have to be left behind if thats the case. Better bring the 2 just to be sure....... :D

Guys need to get the hotel and restaurant sorted, asap. Restaurant availability in Limerick city is crazy at the moment. The GF's work crew (in Limerick) are organising a night out for the following weekend, and restaurants were laughing at them for leaving it so late to book -telling them they could fit them in, in January  (so much for the recession!)
Although as we are not going into the city we'd probably be ok.
