Still just puppies - 9 months old - Max (male) and Ria (female). They reach full size after 2 years.
They're still training but they'll certainly let you know if theres anyone around.

Rottweilers have a bad rep but the reality is absolutely different - they are fantasic dogs - very intelligent and loyal - easy to train as well.
I've had a number of dogs inc Cocker Spaniels and Labradors but these guys have really surprised me. It wouldn't have been a dog I would have considered untill I saw my mates dogs temperment - he breeds them - so if anyone is interested and believes they would be able to properly care for a rottweiler then let me know.

I wish I had the space and time for a dog..... it just wouldn't be fair to get one seeing as both myself and the wife work full time and we don't have a big enough back garden to let them run around during the day time.

Agreed about the unfair bad rep Rottweillers get. Look up any Dogs website and you will see how gentle, intelligent, loyal, and how good with children they are. My uncle had 3 rottweillers at one stage, fabulous dogs, playful, loads of fun, but when they were approached by my four year old niece at the time, all three would instinctively go quiet, lie down, let my Niece pull their ears and tails. Quite surreal to watch!

Very jealous MFTO, gorgeous puppies, am dying to get a dog myself, just have too much going on right now...but soon!

Absolutely - very good temperment - v good illustration of how good these dogs really are!

As they say - if a rottweiler had the temperment of a terrier then you'd never be able to own one. Luckily they have as good a temperment as you're likely to find in any dog.

A female will generally be less than a male - either can range from 300Euros to 650Euros depending on quality and breeder.
