Some alternatives to buying a new bonnet

Seen this on ebay and thought that if you turned it around so the vent is facing your front window it would look like the creative sports bonnet. And its only £25.
You would need a bit of work done on blending it etc but could be made to look fairly similar to the CS one IMHO.

Use your imagination, I know its not the exact same as having the real thing but it might be an option for those that cant afford to pay a few hundred for the genuine article in these recessionary times.

TBH, if I was willing to spend a few hundred getting parts primed, blended and sprayed the chances are I'd fork over more than €25 to start with.
I can't say I'm a fan of those mods although I think a bonnet scoop can look well.

Saying that though, I wouldn't be in favour of fitting a dummy for the sake of it.
It'd have to cool something.

A duct could be made to feed cold air to the air intake. If done right could give a ram air effect as on kawasaki ZZR ZXR ZX6R etc etc

as an alternative to a scoop if not actually wanting to feed air to anything and just wish to let heat out, these can press louvres into your bonnet. seen it done on a Manta was cool. http://www.coollouvres.com/newframes.htm
