Headlight bulb gpne off

Postby belgianrm » Wed Aug 15, 2012 7:55 am

Hi,

I keep on having to replace the bulb on the driver side headlamp.
the low beam bulb keeps on blowing up.
I have absolutely no electrical problems anywhere else in the car. And the other headlamp (left) seems fine.
just the right hand side...

Any idea what it might be ?

Check the wiring to make sure it's not frayed/exposed. Also make sure the connection is good. Other than that, i'm not sure. Just make sure you're not contaminating the bulbs before putting them in. The oils on your hands are like cancer to bulbs.

Consider getting LED bulbs if it's the side lights. They look much better and are not susceptible to the oily cancers on your hand
97 Manual GPX. Icecelle Blue.
Other Stuff: Induction kit. Front Strut. Apex Lowered. 17" Kahns. Quad exhaust. HID lights. Glow dials and rings/cups. Black leather seats. Window tints. Sunroof.

Probably not your problem but it's worth double checking that you're using the right bulb.
