Another addition to the FTO family?

Postby waynebowden » Fri Jan 10, 2014 1:11 am

Hey guys,

Looking to add another FTO to the family.

Newly acquired 1994 GR sits pride of place on the drive

Seen a GS version for sale on Donedeal turns out a friend of mine went to college with the seller and he is a genuine fella.

For the money think it would be good to have around for parts alone running gear excluded

Can you guys offer your taught's?

This bit from his advert has been nicked from mine, therefore I wouldn't be too quick to trust a word he says: "Also new Starter Motor, Battery, Track Rod, Cv Boot and Bearings all recently replaced."

Well that wouldn't bother me, but what a tool for lying about work getting done. I wouldn't bother with this douche. He also ruined a perfectly good FTO, or has awful taste

Hey Guys

Thanks for the replies

I took the chance and went down to meet the Guy car was extremely rough on the outside. Body kit was poorly applied, No use of fiberglass to flush it to the body. Interior was cream leather at one stage boot was far past its best.

But on the plus side the car had a lovely set of alloys as shown in the add with 4 brand new tires that will find a new home on my GR.
Brand new discs and pads with receipts grooved and vented on the front with standard on the back.

4 new coilovers with proof of purchase.
Polished metal dial surround

Sony explode rear speakers

HID kit

Perfect rear tail lights (to replace the one with a small crack on the GR)

Mono racing steering wheel

A quad exhaust system ( not sure to transfer to the GR or not)

And the finally which was to be my next upgrade front and rear strut braces.

Due to the worse for wear on the exterior got the Sham down to 450 cash with a 20 lucks penny for petrol.

Car just passed the nct in July but due to back dating was out again the first week of January so once I take off what I need I sure some boy racer will snap up for the 450 or worst case the local scrappy offering 200 if it drives to the yard.

So all in all if I get all above mentioned parts for 250 its still an amazing bargain.
