FAO Rory - Facelift conversion

Rory, how did you get on with your facelift conversion in the end, mind sharing with us how you went about the whole thing?

Where did you pick up the FL bumper by the way? Its been something I've been thinking of doing but the lack of bumper availability has been putting me off. I'd rather not have to import from the UK as shipping costs are prohibitive.

I have fitted the new bumer and lamps. I got the bumper through Mitsi Specialists in the north. Part No: MD555088. I will post some pictures in the next couple of days. I am just about to order TOPMIXskirts and spoiler from China approx €500 for both.

Nice one Roe. How much was the bumper/lamps, and how hard to fit???

Just to add here, I have a facelift type bumper on mine, came with the car. But before I bought it, it was damaged before the guy got it in so he arranged to get it replaced. The whole front bumper was replaced.

I got it in Jim Rock's in Loughlinstown so obviously he knows someone who does get them in and fits them.

But the lights etc are the same as the other fto's so its only the bumper that is replaced, or the front cone I should say.
