Kevin I believe that your whole 'FTO experience' project still needs some work. And I think I speak for most of the regular users here when I say that:
"That Xsara avatar has outstayed it's (questionable) welcome. "
Time to move on Kev. While out of sheer laziness I do not have one, I believe it is by far the lesser of two evils.

Dunno, I think my whole 'FTO experience project', whatever that means :?: , is going pretty well!

 Been waiting to get a chance to give her a good polishing up before I took the pics, and hoping for a nice day for that extra 'sparkle'.

I've actually just completed the sale of my Xsara in the last couple of days, so I've been thinking strongly about changing the avatar. The Xsara was what I was driving for the first 6 months of being on FTO-ireland.com so I think it was a very justifyable avatar, its a good looking car, no FTO but works for me!

Since I no longer own the car, and there is such a strong objection :? I'll see what I can do.

it doesn't even have to be an FTO, look at MyfeckinFTO, that man still hasn't gotten off the pot and CJ's isn't even his car!

I should be able to do something this evening.

Jeez I had no idea a little pic you'd hardly look at would be such a big deal!

Actually, I'll leave it without an avatar altogether, less controversy!! Problem solved.

Oiii ! I'll have you know that my avatar happens to be a metaphor for my life with my FTO. A life of contemplation combined with a few edge of the seat moments - The anticipation of what is to come combined with the relief of almost completing my work.

A life of hot air and talking through my a*se. (Before anyone gets in with that!)

Yeah - I'll be changing the Avatar when I get some decent photos up.

Yeah, buts it part of the FTO-Ireland logo so thats good enough for me!
I'm kinda sad thats the Xaras gone, its prescence in threads made the FTO avatars stand out so much more ;)

Anyway, we're way OT here so I'm spitting this thread...

Since there's been a whole new topic for this, Mustang needs to explain wtf he means by the quote above.

Firstly, no avatar any more, secondly, what do you mean, the "i prefer my fto to my missus" thing? 9 more posts and you'll have that on yours too, I've no control over that.

Wtf is with people today?

Mustang, if you've something to say, say it!!

By 'FTO experience' I mean, buying, owning, and working on the car as well as taking part in the forum -seems clear enough to me.
As with most posts on here it should be taken with a pinch of salt. No offence intended Kev! and it's nothing personal, this was meant in a light hearted way, I hope that is understood

I disagree but each to their own

Lets cool the jets lads!

Rory: The test under your name is a ranking that changes depending on your post count, "Have you seen my FTO tattoo?" kicks in at 320, "I prefer my FTO to my missus" comes online @ 370.

Kevin: Mustang is just havin' a bit of a laff with the 'FTO experience' comment, don't mind him ;) Pinch of salt etc

Mustang: Stop annoying Kev!

Its not your fault MfTJ, posts on these forums are moderated in moderation ;)
This needs to be done from time to time in order to ensure some sort of structure to the individual forums, even a threadjacker like you can understand that!

Still not sure what exactly has happened here but this is a car forum and none of my post's are intended to offend.

CJ

I was not offended just was not sure what was going on. Don't really give a s**t anyway. Lets get on with the petrolhead talk.
