NZ Trip Spots

Postby Kace » Fri Jan 18, 2013 11:53 pm

Well....back after a great NZ trip. Beautiful spot - no better place to be with an FTO I reckon. Nothing special on the FTO front (from a car condition point of view) but spots were as follows :

Melbourne (2 days) - 0
Auckland (2 days) - 1 silver, 1 icelle, 1 navy
Waiheke Island (2.5 weeks) - 1 red (lady driver) and 2 silver (1 outside bodyshop) as follows.

Some amazing letterboxes and views in Waiheke - would love to go back !!

I seen about 3-5 FTOs a day on the South Island and only 3-4 in a week on the north island.
Not too many were in good condition.

The South Island is amazing compared to the North island. I'd recommend it to anyone who's thinking of going to New Zealand to spend a little more time in the South Island. Met countless people from the north island that came to the South Island for their holidays.

Looking at the pictures I am amazed at how high the standard springs were set on the FTO, it is very rare to see an FTO with gaps that big at the wheel arches as most are lowered here.
