Lovely Shiny..!

Decided to clean the headlights. They actually looked a lot worse than the pictures, all rough feeling and quite nasty. Used Autoglym Paint Renovator. Did it twice, once up and down, then once side to side. Then some polish and finished with super resin, both Autoglym. Took about half hour. Not too strenuous. Now they are shiny and smooth

Well, the paint renovator certainly cut through all the crap that was on there. Was quite easy as well. Not as messy, and only one product.

The plastic actually looks and feels like glass now

I often wonder what the headlight would look like a year after a 'fix' given that all the lacquer has been removed?

Well I do give my headlight a quick rub & polish everytime I was the car - this far no issues

hi guy's, wot type sand paper or grade should i use on headlights? ive got rubbing compound and buffing machine at the ready! or do i need sand paper at all?

ah further reading of old posts............. 1500, 2000 grade paper

finished the headlights this morning, they came up like new, bit of 1500 wet and plenty elbow grease, t-cut and finish with autoglym resin polish. lovely job,,,,,,
