I'd imagine once I get on the M7 I'll be off the worst of the roads, but just wondering what it's like that end?

It snowed Tuesday morning but was gone just as quickly.
It snowed last night, barely an inch, -1C this morning as appossed to -4C nearly every other morning this week. Practically no frost on the windscreen this morning. The Mid west just has not gotten the snow and freezing weather that the rest of the country has, business as usual basically, just at a slightly slower pace in case there is some ice or unsalted road sections.

We've had as low as -7 in the mornings here but all with clear skies up to now.
Got the first bit of snow last night, as Mustang said... about an inch.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow :D

I would love to bring it but I just can't get out on to the main roads with it, the secondary roads are just too bad. As I said, I'd to get a push up a very slight incline yesterday on the way to work, so its just not a option unfortunately.

We're meeting at 12, so if you're up just before that sometime. Karting is at 1, you could hang around there and be a spectator if you want and hopefully we'll have a bit of a spin after that then somewhere. With the daylight hours we prob wont get much but it'll be a bit anyway.

As above... would i not just come up just a bit before your finished karting, i thought the meal was at 8? so for between 1:30-8:00 is an empty space as far as i can tell?
This thread is confusing me :D only cos im not fully taking part tho :(

Sure whatever you want yourself, I don't know what time the karting finishes at, its probably around an hour and a half or something, so if you wanted to be in the karting place at about 2 or 2.15 I suppose that would do. I presume you can just walk in and wait for us in there, they usually have a viewing room or something in the indoor ones.
You arriving in an FTO or bringing your own car?

Yeah, there's normally some view area at the karting, so even if you arrived a bit early, there might be some entertainment on track? Will send on a PM anyway and give you the mobile, so if you've any problems, you can give us a bell.

Looks like I'll be taking an Opel Combi. I know, I know, no need to rub it in. :(

i will be arriving in a Cr@p box. not a car. As the bad man at the garage said that if i end up in a crash he will be left with a car and he doesnt think i would pay for it... WELL if i ever felt so untrusted... ahh i can understand that there are people that wouldnt pay, i hate that other people ruin stuff for everyone else though!! :(

Well I won't be going in no convey with the thing anyway, so will take you up on that offer. Will probably just leave the van at the hotel.

Yeah, I think thats one of the best things about this club, a lot of people (including myself) have changed from FTO's, but still stay around for the craic, and because of friendships (and even businesses) that started here.

I reckon the Zed will be staying at home as well - those R888s don't like snow or ice. The Murano it'll have to be unless theres a serious thaw in the meantime.

Connect is only going if Tom will swap it for his Combi. So its either one or the other of those.
My FTO, Bernard's, Stewy's, Mustangs, and Grace's DC5 will be there.
A Z and an S2000 would have been nice to throw into the mix too though.

Boooooooooooo!!! Leave now and drive really slow! Plenty of time! An f.t.o, dc5, OPEL COMBI photo session doesnt sound very appealing!
