Yup it'll be early, if we're meeting with the Limerick gang along the way especially, where-ever they said they're meeting, cant remember off hand. I'll have to work out the times but I would be thinking off the top of my head around 7 or even earlier. I've to collect a lad in Glanmire so we can meet in Silversprings if thats all right seeing as its more or less on the way to the road we'll be prob taking anyway. Anyone else got any suggestions?
Oh, and its a bed thats free in a family room, havent got a full room spare. But I dont know if they're full or not in the b+b yet.

Right, just checked aarouteplanner, and its telling me that to get to Tougher, Kildare, (is this where people are meeting? If not let me know), it takes 3 and 1/2 hours. Now if they're meeting at 9, thats means we're leaving at 5.30! So bed early the night before for people if ye're planning on getting there on time! I know theres a good bit to be saved because of lack of traffic and the fact that the speed limit is 120kmph, but I dont know how much time can be saved.

Karting doesn't start till 11am -1130am so theres no point in leaving at 0530. 0700 should be time enough from Cork.

I'm staying up in Dublin the night before with work so I won't be part of convoy from the West.

I didnt fancy getting early morning birds stuck in my front grille at that hour of the morning all right, but to meet the rest of the Limerick gang at some designated point twould want to earlier than 7 wouldnt it? Any better place to meet along the way than Kildare?

Wow, I've just been looking at our numbers there, am I right in this?

13 definite FTOs (I'm presuming that Mustang and Irishgirl have FTOs, sorry for not knowing, the rest I know or have seen). If Topcat makes it thats 14 FTOs!
2 definite Z's!

Do these numbers look right?! It'll be some meet!

How about Birdhill for the Cork / Kerry / Limerick crowd?
We'd have to pass through it anyway...

What time ye be at Birdhill? Would take us about 1 and 1/2 hours to get there I think, give or take a bit for traffic again and all that.

It depends, how many are meeting at tougher?
We might be better heading straight for Kylemore... any thoughts?

Ok I count 20 people for Karting.
@ D Dan I think you said you were bringing a guest along, will she be karting as well? if so can you please update the list. That would make 21.
I also count ~21 for overnight (that includes FTOmad, fatboy7 and D Dan +1)

13 FTO's, 2 Zeds + unknowns
@Dragonheart, yes Irishgirl and myself have FTO's. BTW I'd say you are looking at 3 hours from Cork city to the Naas rd. without any delays. I'd factor in at least 3.5 hours. (as a rule of thumb add 1/2 to 3/4hour to any time given by MyfeckinFTO  )

How about meeting in Urlingford, is that on ye're way or is it off the track? Was told its only 2 hours from Cork so that would be ideal for the cork crew to meet ye if it is on the way.

I thought tougher was in Kildare....

Ya, it is. My geography is pretty dire. Urlingford is in Offaly isnt it? Seeing as that was smack bang in the middle of the country thought ye might be passing through it on the way to Dublin.

Damn, Urlingford is in Tipp. Bernard have you got list of towns ye'll be passing through or a route planner or something so I can pick one to meet ye at cause I'm getting all confused!

EDIT: Ye passing through Roscrea?

Portlaois is bypassed now - I would suggest its better to meet on the N7 like Roscrea, Urlingford or Monasterevin,

Oh right! - Is that the Comfort Inn on the left hand side of the N7 on eastbound ?
That wouldn't be too hard to find though McDonalds in Roscrea is v easy to find plus you get to eat high quality food while you wait.

McDonalds carpark sounds like a plan.
I'm just thinking of times, are we heading straight for Kylemore or meeting the lads in Tougher?
