Dont know what it was

Postby Dragonheart » Mon Sep 03, 2007 6:56 pm

A mitsubishi passed me today, when it was coming towards me I was sure it was an FTO and was just about to flash. But then I thought it looked strange at the back, so I held off. When it passed me, from the rear it looked like a Honda Prelude! Didnt have a name on the back just a mitsubishi badge. What was it?

That particular car has been for sale for ever  I wouldn't like to be trying to sell it, reckon the asking price needs to at least halve.

Sounds like an eclipse - seen a couple of them around blanchs and lately there's been one in Drogheda as well..

The older Eclipses look a lot more FTOish imo.

If you put your hand over the nose of that it actually just looks like an FTO. Of course since the front is the nicest part of the FTO that makes the Eclipse a lot less attractive. ;)

I imagine the original intention for the look was more Ferrari Testarossa, than opel combi :)

Eclipse, I'd say thats prob what it was. Too small for a GTO, they have more a look of a Supra about them.
