Ireland Prices...

Hi all,

Just looking again at the Honda S2000's in UK and Ireland as I day dream on a Friday in work. New List price in Ireland is €60,000! New list price in UK, with todays conversion rate...€37,000! Unreal.

Also, cheapest used one I can see here is €35,000 for a 1999 one...LOADS of 1999's in the autotrader.co.uk at £16,000, or €22,000!

Then, I ring the insurance. 28....5 years NCB....199 s2000... €4,500!!!

I'll be sticking to the FTO for another while.....not complaints there though!

Oh yea, one other thing! I called the vehcile registration office to see what the VRT on a 1999 S2000 would be if I imported one from UK.....€7,000!! For a set of number plates basically!

going on the figures you listed, eur22,000 for a '99 s2000 in UK + eur7,000 VRT that's still eur6,000 cheaper than over here.... .pity about the insurance though!
