Hey there, i'm Lucian, i leave around the CityWest area. Proud owner of a Honda CBR 600F, Isuzu driver (lol) and future FTO driver. Cant realy aford one now because i'm too young ( that's what i've been told by the insurance companies) and the car is too fast ( does not mater that i was driving an Audi 80 2.8 v6 quattro, my first car). Some of u may know me from Todds Leap trip. :)
Good day to everybody!

Hi Lucian. How old are you so? I was 23 when I got mine (a 96 1.8 gs auto), I couldn't get insured then either. That was with a full licence and 3 years NCB. In the end I got my mam insured on it TPFT and I got fully comp on her 1.4 Focus and her as a named driver. As she was a lady driver with full NCB it cost nothing to have her insured as well (something to do with her being less of a risk than me) and I was insured to drive any car Third Party which is part of fully comp cover with some insurance companies. Its not exactly illegal, but its not whats intended by it either.
Its risky as you could have a crash and end up paying for the damage to the FTO as you'd only be third party, and if your mother crashed you'd loose your NCB as she's on your policy. But it could be an option.
**Should you choose to go down this road I can be in no way held responsible for any injuries, expenses, convictions, loss or damage to property.
Hi Lucian. How old are you so?...
hello again to all of u... I'm 24 now, and the last quote i did for an FTO GR was 4500 TPFT... a bit too much for me ( being a jap import, first insurance... the usual sh*t). I was thinking at the thing u said before, get the car insured on somebody else name, but too much hustle and a bit risky too.
Thats the reason i decided to open an insurance company when i grow old... :r [/img]
and before i forget... that Isuzu is the worst car i ever drived, but is free insurance, road tax and diesel, so it's perfect :D
