Test your brakes

I drove through a very long and deep puddle last night and thought nothing of it but when I came up to traffic lights 300 metres later I had a hell of a time stopping.

I know that you're supposed to dry your brakes after a wetting like that but Its never bothered me on other cars.
Same thing happened again this morning (different puddle) but at least I was prepared.

Does anyone else have this problem?
