Became the owner of a '95 GR tip recently and have been back and forward off the site simply looking guides but haven't had the chance to say hello yet, so here it is.
Site's a handy job, I'm sure i'll read through most of the technical stuff along the way lol. Some great guides and advice for FTO owners though, which I really appreciate as I knew little of the technical side of the cars beforehand, only knew them from playing Gran Turismo.
Only have a few pics from when I got her into the yard for the first time:
Straight swap for my SS-1 Celica I had which simply lacked the power but a lovely, if not similar style car.
Having failed the MOT last week due to tyres and lights not being correctly aligned I have passed on the retry and got my decat on

And replaced the bracket on my fuel filler cap which conveniently broke off the day before the MOT.
Also got a Ralliart air filter and radiator caps etc to clean to bay a bit and other wee bits and bobs including a front strut brace (compliments of Mr. ebay). A nice shiny set of mud flaps and a set of 15" 6 spoke rims (to replace the ugly 3 spoke jobs) I've sort of sprayed Ford Graphite Grey and painted the brakes. Hopefully getting her lowered tomorrow so if I don't find a more recent pic before then I'll get one fired up after it.
o and wheres you petrol cap door?
welcome along Tiernan, maybe should've got those tappets sorted before doin the suspension. Not a good sign when they can be heard over a decat. good call gettin shot of those three spoke rims.
