Hi guys,

Im a new member. I bought a 1999 GPvR aero spec last week. I was getting silly quotes off everyone but got a great quote off quinn and proceeded with it. 850euro fully comp with no claims protection etc.(190euro excess)

Im 27 and have 5 years full license and 5 years no claims. no probs. all the other places wanted 1600 - 2700 fully comp.

I know Quinn can be prickely so make sure they know exactly what is is or they will try and default. My log sheet just said FTO 1990CC... The GPvR is 1999CC I think. It's not 1990CC anyway, but I made sure Quinn new it was a GPvR and thats whats on my insurance cert. If its a GS model though I don't think it will be an issue. Is there something different about de2a imports?

when i said is was a de2a import online i had to ring them and what they said on the phone is they only insure the gs. so i will state to them that it is a gs or maybe gr.

Slightly older topic but an update for it, I got a renewal of €1120, quoted with Quinn - €753! Want to get a few more quotes, but Quinn is looking good...

Yeah. hopefully you won't have to use it so you may as well get best deal. Quinn have no cliams protection and also breakdown and windscreen insurance now. almost a "proper" outfit now...
