Was driving behind one of those on my way to work this morning.. Black.. NICE

there's one in my estate also - sort of a champagney color - not quite as nice..

Sounds Savage when he puts the foot down in it - but when he's just trundling about it's as quiet as any other saloon.

Nice car - a bit like a grown up Scooby STI - excellent performance if not quite in the EVO / STI bracket. Running costs should be reasonable enough though I would imagine it would be every bit as thirsty as an EVO due to similar power and increased weight.

Possibly the biggest disadvantage though is likely to be depreciation. They're not a cult car like an STI or EVO and tend to date fairly quickly.
A 2001 Lecacy B4 can now be had for 10/11K as opposed to 23/24K - 3 years ago and I think the new model is likely to follow that trend.
