Holy crap this car is insane!!!

Its probably the cleanest fto chassis-underbody i've seen in years. Not even a hint of rust in usual places!!! Fully undersealed! And when i say no expence spared i mean it. Full leather interiour with recaro front seats carbon fiber everywhere including bonnet but its under the bonnet wher the ££££ have been spent not only is it a manual gpx but its had added not 1 but 2 turbo's ( from the vr4) which makes for something bloody f***ing mental. When i finall got an open stretch of road after miles and miles and miles of driving at mo more than 50 mph (parked on one motorway for 45 min at on stage last night) well i dropped the hammer...And feck me 3rd gear mivec plus turbos is bloody scary, the torque steer is huge, its like wrestling an aligator!! For now i will take it easy till i work my way up to that sort of thing. But one hell of an FTO and one hell of a happy owner!!! :D :D

Really nice! So you're the lucky one! I saw the car advertised on eBay - it had people talking on Facebook on the FTO Nutters group (new model). It's great to see that it went to a good home Daz. Well wear! :ll

Looking forward to more updates and pictures. :D

Daz - that machine looks amazing. I shudder to think what the extra power + Mivec feels like.....

Let us know if you're expecting to be over in these parts in the coming months and we will I am sure organise a few people to meet up with you to see it in the flesh.

Thanks for the kind comments lads. Been quiet this week been on my honeymoon. Only butlins with the kids in toe but still a nice break. Unfortunatly that ment the FTO spent its first week alone...well with the red one for company.

Well it was covered but guess high winds caused it to come off

Time to take it out for a spin me thinks!!!

Nice FTO, did you pick this up from Ashford, Kent ?

I remember seeing the turbo kit for sale a few years ago it was off a previous FTOOC members car.

Used to drive past the car on way to work, never got a chance to have a good look at it

I know Eurospec did a couple of these kits, producing 265bhp on standard internals.

A pity you never got a good look at it.. it is a beauty... but ofcourse i'm gonna say that now that i own it

Yea i've got the eurospec dyno graph for it. Its pushing out just over 270bhp but its the torque thats imense..it torque steers like mad if ya kick it down 2 gears and drop the hanmer

Ftocuzon did you ever manage to get any decent power from the 3ltr lump?

I bought it 3 years ago and last owner had to have the whole engine rebuilt roughly about 6 months before he sold up (I think he ran the engine whilst very low on oil)

Never had the car on the dyno but the car runs really well and very fast
