As you know, I got me an Austin Mini a couple of weeks back. Called Liberty about adding to policy, or switching policy from FTO temporarily, but they don't insure anything 20 years or older. What a total joke! My insurance is not up until August and it would be foolish for me to start a new policy with anyone else at this stage. Looks like my only viable option is to transfer ownership to the wife and use my "drive other cars" extension. As Liberty do not state value, or age limitations, I don't see where this could be a problem. Anyone?

On a separate, funny note.....when I was going through my policy documents, I realised that I had my expired insurance disc displayed, which ran out in August 2012. That's gotta be a record. Nobody ever noticed this!

I'm hoping to put the two cars onto one policy. First Ireland may be the best pick....plus, Liberty won't have me over a barrel anymore.
