FTO badge size?

Postby goz_83 » Tue Jul 24, 2012 1:29 pm

Hi. As my fto is in the shop, I don't know what size to order. I see 4.7 and 5.8 on Ebay. Anyone know which one I need for the facelift bumper?

Holy thread revival Batman!

I need to replace my front badge also, mine was just a very flat sticker, of which I'm not paying CS over €40 for a tiny sticker.

But is it this one: http://www.camskill.co.uk/m3b0s248p7604 ... nuary_1997

Or this? http://www.camskill.co.uk/m3b0s248p7605 ... 97_Onwards

Does anyone know where I would get them cheap - ebay seems to only have raised ones like this? http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Red-Mitsubishi-B ... 563c52122c

Strange those camskill links. i thought pre and post facelift badges were the same size. im sure they are actually. one link is for a pre facelift and the ofher is for a post facelift. But notice the sketches are both post facelift :) what happened your badge?

Laura I might have an unopened blue one if you want it. Will check later, but will save you spending a penny if so. Unless you're set on red, Let me know.

Checked. I have a blue one. You could have it if you want, but I know you probably want the authentic red one, in which case, you found the right size on ebay.

The post 97 is pretty much a sticker, where pre 97 is chunky plastic

Thanks Gary, but going to stick with red what with the matching seats. I got it resprayed in late 2011, but 6 months later the paint started cracking so I brought it back and they resprayed again FOC. Couldn't save the sticker.

It's post 97 I'm after, I'm assuming you mean post Feb i.e this one Colm? http://www.camskill.co.uk/m3b0s248p7605 ... 97_Onwards

That one on ebay looks raised Gary, whereas mine was flat. Did you get one from ebay in the end, was it raised?

Yeah I got from Ebay and it's raised. As colm says, the one you're after is the sticker one, but I reckon you should get a raised one. Looks much better.

I never put the badge onto the FTO in the end. Got the bumper blended instead. Look at Gerrys 94GR and you'll see a raised carbon fibre style badge on it. His 97GPX has a blue raised badge on it.
